"Victor & Mendez," the name itself in the relevant circles, conjures images of fine workmanship, product quality, and acknowledged expertise.

It was in 1974 that Victor & Mendez came into being. Since then, a tradition of superior standards, consistency, and persistence has seen the Company through 26 years of existence. It is without doubt that the 80's, and now the late 90's, are perhaps the most prolific periods of Malaysia's rapid and stellar ascension to the status of global economic player. Kuala Lumpur, being the capital, must be representative of the nation's prosperity, most notably, through its architecture. Victor & Mendez is proud to have its name associated with many of these fine buildings throughout the years of expansion and growth.

The Company is mainly involved in the supply and installation of building finishing products, specifically stone. The popular conception is only of marble and granite, but Victor & Mendez has been introducing new products from around the world such as slate from England, sandstone from Australia and Spain, not to mention the ubiquitous Italian marble and granite, so closely associated with fine buildings.

Over the years, the Company's commitment to excellence has seen the formation of close associations with respected architects, interior designers, and the various clients the Company has serviced. As a result, any major commercial project the Company is involved in is ensured a cultivated confidence from consultants and clients alike. This allows the Company to focus wholeheartedly on the maintenance of quality in the stone products supplied and the upkeep of the expected professional quality in workmanship.

Besides supply and installation of stoneworks, Victor & Mendez also offering project co-ordination service such as inspection of material at the quarry, purchasing of material, preparing of cutting list, installation works in overseas, etc.

Products
Victor & Mendez acquire its catalogue of stone products from various suppliers scattered across the many stone producing nations of the world. As many will be familiar with, Italy is still the main supplier of finished products (polished slabs, cut-to-size tiles, columns, etc.) and the majority of products come via the Company's suppliers in the marble centre of Carrara, Italy. While the stone itself may not necessarily originate from Italy, production expertise still rests in the hands of the Italians.

Recently, Victor & Mendez began buying Spanish marbles and granites from Ingemar s.a., in San Sebastian, Spain. The Company has also had a relationship with world-leading slate producers, Burlington Stone, of Cumbria, England.

In addition to stone, Victor & Mendez also possess distribution rights, and acts as agent for a number of noted finishing-product suppliers;
