The Chairman/Managing Director, Mr Lee Shiek Yin is responsible for the day to day affairs of the organisation. The company under Mr Lee Shiek Yin’s prudent guidance over the years, has gained not only the technical know-how of the industry, but has been acknowledged, both locally and overseas, as an innovative, competitive and service oriented organisation. This acknowlegement is reflected by their large business dealings with the local Government, financial institutions, property developers and owners - both local and foreign; hoteliers, club houses and many medium to large private companies. Mr Lee Shiek Yin has wide experience, having spent 16 years with Anglo American Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd., a Dutch conglomerate. During his term with Anglo American Corp., he was in charge of the Building Material Division (both marble and other related products). His expertise is well recognised by local prominent and established architects and property developers.

Factory

The factory Manager has the support of 7 experienced machine operators and 15 general workers. As for marble and granite products, the company imports mainly from Italy, Germany, Spain and India. These products are imported as finished products as well as crude unpolished and untrimmed random size slabs.

Victor & Mendez activity is not only engaged in the supply and installation of the finished but it is also involved in the polishing and cutting of crude unpolished marble and granite slabs in their own factory. This give them the advantage of a shorter delivery time as production schedule is drawn according to customer needs and demands. This is to achieve maximum control over quality of the finished products. Quality control begins with the purchase of granite and marble slabs.

The factory Manager is personally responsible for the checking of all raw materials purchase for quality in term of texture, clarity, hardness, uniformity of colour. Products are randomly taken off the production lines for stringent checks by trained staff for quality standards at each stage of production.

The machines when in full operation have the potential capacity of about 25,000 sq. ft. per month on one shift per day.
