Sama Plastic Machinery
Sdn Bhd (SAMA) was established in 1975 under the present directorship.
With only 15 workers, the Company began its operations by
focusing on the manufacturing of a wide range of plastic bag
processing machines.
In line with its business expansion, the Company subsequently
moved to its new factory in Kajang. The number of employees
then had increased from 15 to 80 workers.
By 1995, in order to keep pace with the international advancement
of bag-making technology, SAMA began to implement new manufacturing
processes including the use of magnetic clutch and brake,
servo motor system, as well as film blowing machine (which
is suitable for all types of polythene like PP, LDPE, LLDPE,
HDPE and shopping bag).
Reliability, user-friendly controls, low maintenance cost
and accuracy of cutting and sealing are part of the benefits
of SAMA machines. That explained with Sama has managed to
capture 85% share in the packaging industrial market in Malaysia.
Besides the domestic market, SAMA has also been able to meet
the demands of the regional markets such as Singapore, Thailand,
Indonesia, Philipines, Brunei, Vietnam, etc.

its proven track record and growing reputation, many various
orders are coming in from the East Asian countries including
Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka for Middle East. Today SAMA
