The HR94 Sensor is designed for door transom installation. For increased safety a row of beams are focused just in front of the door. The overall detection area is divided into four lines of eight beams per line, giving a high-density detection pattern.

Merits

• The sensing performance near the door has been upgraded with this sensor with Ihe result that a person entering from theside ot the door, or standing near the door rail will cause activation.
• incorporated into the built in microprocessor is a presence timer that can be user set to 2,5,20 and 180 seconds giving extra safety near the door.
• The sensors microprocessor automatically takes countermeasures against adverse conditions such as snow, strong sunrays and electrical noise.
• The sensing pattern consists of four lines parallel to the door, each line contains eight beams resulting in a high density of infrared beams scanning the sensing area. The two lines near the door are for presence detection while the outer two lines are activation sensors.

Principle
The transmitter(lnfrared LED) radiates near infrared light to a focused surface. The controller monitors the normal reflection level. Once there is a change in the normal reflection level the output relay is activated.
