- Precision glass scales are the heart of every ACU-RITE readout system. For more than four decades, optical glass scale technology has proven its reliability in machine shops and manufacturing facilites throughout the world. ACU-RITE's design and manufacturing technology maximizes the inherent accuracy and durability of glass scale technology.
- ACU-RITE's glass scales resist changes in size, shape or density due to temperature and humidity variations. This stability provides exceptional accuracy down to ± 1.5 µm ( .00006").
-ACU-RITE scales are available in travel lengths from 1"-733" and in resolutions from 0.5 µm ( .00002") to 10 µm ( .0005").
-With over 1 million scales in use today, ACU-RITE galss scales are proven to withstand a variety of harsh conditions found in machine shop environments. These include extremes of temperature, contamination, corrosive chemicals, gases and even electromagnetic interference .

Microscale
Microscale offer a compact design for lathe cross slides or applications with limited mounting space. MicroScales are available in travel lengths of 1" - 60", in resolutions of 0.5 µm or 5µm, and with an accuracy of 5 µm/m.
 
ENC-150
The new ENC-150 scales are ideals for lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM machines. ENC - 150 scales are available in travel lengths of 2"-120", in resolutions of 0.5µm, 1µm, 2µm,5µm and 10 µm, and with an accuracy of 5 µ m/m.
 
AR-5
AR-5 scales are ideal for more rugged applications requiring longer travels, including mills, lathes, press brakes and larger machine tools. AR-5 scales are available in travel lengths of 12"-120", in resolutions of 5 µm and 10 µm, and with an accuracy of 10 µm/m.
 
AR-10 PLUS
AR-10 PLUS scales are specifically designed to maintain high accuracy over long travels. AR-10 PLUS scales are available in travel lengths from 128" - 773", in a 5 µm resolution, and with an accuracy of 10 µm/m.
