THE NEW QMOSII AMPLIFIERS BY STEG
     
     
 
THE EVOLUTION of the QualityMos range. We have implemented a new amplifier as part of our stereo system series - the QM310.2x at 310W RMS per channel. The range boasts as many as twelve models: from the "compact" QM45.2x to flexible multi-channels through to "solid" monophonics. Qmosll is the result of a decade of study and research by G.t.Trading Group in the amplification universe. Today, the Steg Division reconfirms the success won by AQ QualityMos, bettering limits once again to set a new reference parameter. Oversided Mosfets output stages and scrupulous selection of componenets are joined by incredibly detailed review of electrical equilibriums. Every section of the project was optimised with maniacal accuracy; precision calibration of the output stages and the tests performed on every amplifier enabled us to take another step forwards towards perfection. This "evolution" is the natural extension of an on-going project designed to build car amplifiers boasting excellent technical features and incomparable sound performance.
 
ERGONOMICS in the Qmosll range full account of the work of installation technics. Precision development of details is intended to facilitate applicaiton by both professionals and amateur enthusiasts. Clear colour contrast for the indications means that all connections and asjustments are instanly identified; The "Easy Fix" anchoring feet slide along the sides of the heat-sink to facilitate anchoring the amplifier when the support surfaced presents obstacles and irregularities. Every Qmosll is supported by electronic crossovers with settable "Q" values. These devices are essential for multi-amplication systems but are equally useful in single ampliier systems by introducing the possibility of optimising response at low frequencies. Some models are even equipped with circuits which can act on the signal: tone-booster, para-graphic equalisers and time delay sections provide further advantages for fine calibration. We have equally emphasised practical aspects, keeping the installation technician inmind and eliminating "cosmetic engineering" which often merely complicate installation. Even the deliberately in limited spaces often otherwise unusable in vehicles. These solutions reveal what we believe is the true meaning of "ergonomics": facilitate installation.
 
     
 
DESIGN ENGINEERING using "CAD CAM CAE" systems in the techincal department at G.T.trading sustained us in preparing the heat sink efficiency to unvell innovative design modelled on function without forgetting good looks - fundamental in a sector such as CAR HI-FI. recent rapid prototype development techniques, such as stereo-lithography , have enabled us to develop our intuitions in "real" time - and the extraordinary engineering of our systems is evident proof. Vertical PCB cards and on-the-fly cabling solutions are absolutely avoided, since the connections and masses supported by the PCB, are subject to damaging mechanical stresses which would otherwise affect the general reliability of the systems. The high-precision mechanical/electrical organisation adopted in our amplifiers ensures optimal performance unchaging over time. Every element integrates perfectly in the overall project design to guarantee indisputable advantages: high quality, solidity, performance, reliability and... production speed, synonymous with together quality at very competitive prices.
 
THE "PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGIES" used in Steg electronics have always been robust and eficient. These design solutions provide tangible benefits, generated by applied electronics approaches to improve application and performance. GR.I.P.S. immunises amplifiers againsaty all electrical and electromagnetic inteference generated by car electronics. P.R.H.E.S.S. perfectly stabilises the equipment down to the power supply limit condition of 11 Volts. M.I.T.H.O.S. is a circuit structure which exploits Mosfets devices at the top of teir protential. The AQXM2 modules ensure exceptionally high precision to set the crossover cut frequency, eliminating every tolerance offering extremely high thermal permeability. These construction techniques are major advances in mobile amplification - essential solutions in terms of both performance and practical installation equally providing assuarances of reliability and ease of use.
